Air

Need to fly? What better than the Erie International Airport, Tom Ridge Field! It is located just 15 minutes outside of the downtown area. Named after former governor, Tom Ridge, former director of Homeland Security. The airport serves around 170,000 passengers annually. It meets the flight needs of people and organizations from northwest Pennsylvania, southwest New York and northeast Ohio.

Bus

Its easy to get from point A to point B in Erie county thanks to the Erie Metro Transit Autority (EMTA). The authority runs buses seven days a week within the city limits. Limited service is available outside the city as well.

Rail

For your personal enjoyment or your business trip with destinations such as New York City, N.Y. or Chicago, ILL, Amtrak provides passenger services.

Interstates

Three major highways, Interstates 79, 90 and 86, are located in Erie County. Popular destinations in nearby Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Buffalo and Chautauqua New York are all within 2 hours or less by car.
