About Your Stay
The clinical staff at Saint Vincent understand that being hospitalized disrupts daily life for you and your loved ones. While you are in the hospital, the clinical staff will work with you to meet your individual needs and make every effort to accommodate any special requests you or your family may have.
Patients are encouraged to bring personal items such as slippers, pajamas and toiletries in order to make your stay more comfortable. Our private patient rooms include a bedside table and closet for storage where personal items can be kept for the duration of your stay.
Meals are provided any time of day between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. through our “room service” style menu and ordering program, Cuisine on Call. The menu is located in your room and provides a wide variety of food selections, which correspond to your nutritional needs.
Since smoking and the use of tobacco products are major contributing factors to many health problems, Saint Vincent Health System and our affiliates have instituted a tobacco-free policy that prohibits smoking on any Saint Vincent Health System property. In order to prepare you for your stay, Saint Vincent physicians and staff are ready to assist you with smoking cessation tools.
