Paid Time Off

Eligibility: After 90 Days

Associates paid over 38.5 hours a pay period immediately begin accruing hours based on years of service and job title (125% maximum). Hours can be used for vacation, illness, family illness, personal business, bereavement and legal/special holidays.

Health Plan

Eligibility: 1st of month following date of hire. Annual open enrollment each November

The new Alliance Health is a Health Maintenance Organization with emphasis on wellness and preventive care. You and your dependents select a Primary Care Provider from the list of panel providers, who will refer you, if necessary, for diagnostic or specialty treatment. Alliance Health offers you full comprehensive medical coverage with no deductibles, no claim forms, vision discount and, in most instances, only a $10 co-payment for doctor's office visits. Premium costs are shared by the associate and Saint Vincent Health Center.

Prescription Plan

Eligibility: 1st of month following date of hire

Associates pay $5 for generic drugs, $12 for preferred brand drugs and $50 for non-preferred brand drugs.

Dental Plan

Eligibility: 1st of month following date of hire

Benefit Administrators Inc. is a local company that administers our dental coverage. The plan includes coverage for preventive care as well as basic services, major services and orthodontic services. Premium costs are shared by the associate and Saint Vincent.

Flexible Benefits Plan

Eligibility: Immediately if you apply within 30 days; otherwise, each Dec.

Section 125 Plan administered by Employer/Employee Services. Allows you to pay expenses with pretax dollars. Premium Conversion Plan - medical and dental premiums; Medical Reimbursement Plan - out-of-pocket medical and dental expenses ($3,000 maximum); Dependent Care Reimbursement - dependent care expenses ($5,000 maximum).

Daycare

Eligibility: Upon Employment

Fully staffed and certified on-site child-care facility for infants, toddlers and pre-schoolers; payroll deduction; admittance based on vacancy availability.

Tuition Reimbursement

Eligibility: After 6 Months

Partial reimbursement of the cost at an accredited college or university for six hours of credit in any one calendar year.

Automatic direct deposit of your check into your personalized checking or savings account. Optional payroll deductions for U.S. Savings Bonds. Associates who work over 40 hours a pay period may be granted educational, personal, military or family/medical leaves of absence.

Two weeks military paid leave.

Extended Sick Leave

Eligibility: After 90 Days

3.08 hours of sick time accrual every pay period.

Long-term Disability Insurance

Eligibility: After 3 years of continuous full-time employment

Income protection in the event of total disability.

Life Insurance

Eligibility: After 1 Year

Equal to your annual salary, rounded to the next $1,000. Fully paid by Saint Vincent. (For associates working at least 40 hours a pay period.)

Pension

Eligibility: After 1 Year with over 1,000 hours and 21 years old

You are vested after five years of service with 1,000 hours in each year. Employer-paid benefit based on earnings and years of service.

A salary deferral program in which you can save money and defer federal taxes on your earnings until retirement.

An employer-match program equal to 25% of the first 4% of your compensation that you contribute to a tax shelter. You are vested after five full years of service.

24-hour parking available in ramp, with minimum refundable deposit.
