INTERNAL MEDICNE OPPORTUNITY

Westfield Family Physicians, PC also has an opening. Excellent opportunity for an Internal Medicine physician to join an independent Christian practice in beautiful western New York. Group consists of 6 family physicians and 3 mid-level providers located in 2 offices. Inpatient/outpatient required and call is on a rotating basis with all physicians in practice. Willing to consider both full and part-time physicians. Hours are 8-5 with some weekday and weekend hours in the practice. 17 exam rooms with Colposcope, EKG, spirometer and cryotherapy. There are about 17,000 active patients. Practice has also implemented electronic medical records and has a research arm for clinical studies (Great Lakes Medical Research). Majority of patients are middle-aged with great payor mix of 60% commercial insurance. Two year partnership track. Located in a family-oriented community with good schools and a nice network of home schoolers. Practice is committed to providing quality medical care while cultivating strong families and church ties as well as taking active roles in schools and the community. Since 1987, the group has rotated time off for volunteer short-term missions and allows sabbatical time that can be accumulated. Practice also pays physician 50% of salary while on sabbatical leave. In daily practice, the physicians speak openly with patients about spiritual matters and pray with patients. As a Christian practice, they are also committed to principles of honesty and integrity in all their business dealings.
