All types of opportunities are available for volunteers, depending on your interests and the amount of time you wish to contribute. Before beginning to volunteer at Saint Vincent, you are required to attend a volunteer orientation program and visit our Associate Health Services for a physical. Saint Vincent Health Center Auxiliary and Volunteer Programs
The Saint Vincent Health Center Auxiliary supports the health center through charitable acts and community activities. From delivering flowers to escorting patients and visitors to funding major projects, the Saint Vincent Auxiliary provides a vital link in the chain of services necessary for operating the health center.
Most volunteers at Saint Vincent are members of the auxiliary. Membership is not mandatory, but there are added benefits to being an auxilian. To raise funds for health center projects, the Saint Vincent Auxiliary coordinates a number of high-profile community events.

Student Volunteers
Saint Vincent Junior Volunteer - Deadline to submit the application is Wednesday, May 20, 2007.
Saint Vincent welcomes high school students who are interested in volunteering in the health care field.
Volunteers must complete a minimum of 3 hours per week between June and August and must attend the mandatory orientation on Wednesday, May 27, 2007.
Participating in the program is a perfect way to learn more about health care careers and gives you the opportunity to earn community service hours. Many students are placed directly on the nursing units so they can receive a first hand look at daily hospital operations.
The Junior Volunteer Program is only available during the summer months for easier availability in scheduling. If you are interested please complete the pre-registration form or call 814-452-5302.
