The Hospital More Parents Choose for The Birth of Their Babies

Now with sparkling new surroundings

There are many reasons why expectant parents have chosen Saint Vincent two-to-one for delivering their babies.  A highly qualified, experienced, compassionate team of OB/GYNs.  A caring nursing team that is the region's most experienced. An expert team of dedicated neonatologists -- the first choice of doctors and hospitals in the region -- that offers expert care for babies born too early or with health issues.

And now, these excellent services are provided in a sparkling new environment, featuring
beautiful private rooms and state-of-the-art technology.

In late 2008, Saint Vincent opened its $2.8 million state-of-the-art Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, featuring 20 private pods for premature and sick infants.  Saint Vincent is the hospital
of choice in the region for these tiny and fragile infants and the only hospital in the region with two dedicated neonatologists and a nursing staff with decades of experience in neonatal care.

In mid-2009, Saint Vincent opened 10 new, private rooms for gynecology patients and
pregnant women who require hospitalization.  This beautiful new unit offers the quiet,
privacy and specialized care that is so important to these patients.  A brand new nursery is now complete, which will provide much-needed space to care for the record number
of babies being born at Saint Vincent – nearly twice that of any other hospital in the region.

And nearing completion is a sparkling new 27-room Mother/Baby unit, where new moms
can recover and bond with their babies in style.  The new rooms will be completely private, with beautiful décor and a shower in every room.  Most rooms in the Mother/Baby unit are
completed.  The entire project -- including the new nursery -- is expected to be completed in early spring 2010.
