The Center for Pain Management at Saint Vincent

The Center for Pain Management at Saint Vincent provides specialized care for patients suffering from chronic pain, including a comprehensive range of diagnostic procedures and innovative treatments.

Studies have proven that chronic pain treatment is more successful when initiated in the early phase of the problem – before more permanent changes to the nervous system have taken place. Patients are encouraged to ask their family physician about pain management treatment when their pain continues beyond the acute stage and they have failed to respond to available treatment.

During the initial evaluation at The Center for Pain Management, the individualized treatment plan is discussed with the patient. The patient will also be informed of all the risks, benefits and other available treatments. Information regarding the patient’s treatment plan and progress is continually communicated with the primary care physician on a regular basis.
