Trilogy® Stereotactic Radiosurgery Advanced Treatment & TechnologyServices

Surgery without an incision.

It's surgery without an incision.  Trilogy® stereotactic radiosurgery focuses radiation on a target in the brain, spine or other solid organ with surgical precision.  Individually, these low density beams of radiation are too weak to cause any damage.  However, when they converge on a target, like a brain tumor, they slow the target's growth and destroy the targeted cells.  Meanwhile, healthy brain tissue remains safe and intact.   Saint Vincent neurosurgeons provide stereotactic radiosurgery services using Trilogy® technology through a cooperative arrangement with The Regional Cancer Center in Erie, Pa.  Some of the conditions treated with this technology include:

  • Benign Tumors
  • Malignant Tumors
  • Vascular Neurological Disorders
  • Functional Neurological Disorders

Patients are typically referred for Trilogy® radiosurgery by a physician.  For a consultation or more information, please call 814-452-7800.
