Our new mothers and their families love our sparkling 27-room Mother/Baby unit. It is a warm and exquisite place where new moms can recover and bond with their babies in style. The rooms are completely private, with beautiful décor and a shower in every room.
And, it is reassuring to know that, if it is needed, the region's most highly experienced neonatal intensive care physicians and nurses are available in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). With 20 private pods for premature and sick infants, our NICU is the first choice among referring physicians for these tiny and fragile infants. Saint Vincent is the only hospital in the region with three dedicated neonatologists and a nursing staff with decades of experience in neonatal care.
Saint Vincent also offers beautiful private rooms for gynecology patients and pregnant women who require hospitalization. This special unit offers the quiet, privacy and specialized care that is so important to these patients.
Our spacious nursery provides advanced technology to care for babies born at Saint Vincent and features twice the space of any other hospital in the region.
Our obstetric nursing team has more experience than any other in the region, so much so that two of the area's most distinguished, established obstetric physician practices have chosen Saint Vincent as the exclusive hospital where they will deliver babies.
