Objectives:
At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be able to:
- Review the differential diagnosis for infants presenting with fever.
- Discuss diagnostic strategies in children based on the different age groups (0-4 weeks, 4-8 weeks, 2 months – 2 years).
- Recognize indications and options for empiric treatment based on presentation and age group.
