Objectives:
At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be able to:
-Review evidence based guidelines for the assessment and management of chronic non-malignant pain.
-Discuss specific pharmacologic choices for treating chronic pain and how they are selected and used.
-Report measures of monitoring patients taking controlled substances and following their response to therapy.
