Objectives:
At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be able to:
- Recognize the different types of advance directives.
- Discuss when these tools apply in the course of a patient’s illness and be aware of the dangers when advance directives are misused.
- Review Pennsylvania law pertaining to advance directives.
