Objectives:
At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be able to:
- Identify techniques for physicians to improve diagnosis, risk stratification, and control of asthma.
- Recognize the step wise approach to managing pediatric patients with asthma.
- Discuss methods to improve patient and parent understanding of the use of asthma medications, including special issues around school and sports.
