Objectives:
At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be able to:
- List the important clinical issues facing Primary Care Providers surrounding follow up of high risk newborn graduates from the NICU.
- Summarize the key elements in caring for these infant’s medical, developmental, and family needs.
- Identify resources to assist families dealing with the common complications seen after discharge from the NICU.
