Festival of Trees 2013
This year's Festival of Trees event will benefit the Children's Miracle Network.  Children's Miracle Network (CMN) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping hospitalized kids by raising funds and awareness for children's hospitals. The 170 premier hospitals affiliated with Children's Miracle Network help 14 million kids each year.  Saint Vincent Health Center was selected to join CMN in 1986 and has since provided services exclusively for children and families in the Erie region. Together, Saint Vincent and the hundreds of Children's Miracle Network corporate sponsors and individual donors have raised more than $3 million to help children throughout Erie County. All funds raised locally stay in Erie; that's the promise to all donors.

2013 Highlights
Festival attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy nearly 100 professionally decorated Christmas trees that will glisten brightly throughout the Gallery of Trees. Each tree is uniquely decorated, so when it comes to choosing a favorite, it's nearly impossible! Each guest will be provided with a ticket to vote for their favorite tree, and the winning decorator will be announced on Sunday evening at the close of the Festival.

Our "Journey to Bethlehem" features a life size nativity scene, courtesy of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Northwestern Pennsylvania.

We are excited to present once again present the magical Santa's Castle.  This year, attendees will be able to walk through and participate in Santa's interactive and magical castle.  You may tour through Santa's Castle, decorate a cookie with Mrs. Claus in the Gingerbread Bakery, create a craft in the Elves' Workshop, write a letter in Santa's Office and visit two of Santa's reindeer outside on Reindeer Point! Be sure to tell Santa your dreams as you meet him at his Majestic Throne!

Don't forget the shopping! Children will also have the opportunity to visit Santa's Secret Shop, where they may purchase (inexpensive) gifts for their family members.  Children can shop with their parents/guardians, or have one of Santa's elves help them make selections.  Santa's Secret Shop is located near Santa's Castle.

For an additional cost, kids will again have the chance to share Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, November 30th at 9:30 a.m. in the Bayfront's Great Hall.  Breakfast with Santa is limited to the first 300 guests, so make your reservations, soon!

Raffle tickets will be on sale where you will have the chance to win one of the many decorated gift trees and one of nearly 50 custom gift baskets, each valued at more than $75.

There will be live entertainment to enjoy and a holiday marketplace to help you with your holiday shopping. This event is for all ages and is sure to jump-start the holiday season! All proceeds benefit the Children's Miracle Network at Saint Vincent.
